 Minutes of the General Meeting.

Present and Apologies as for AGM.

 Business Arising from the Minutes:

  • Accept minutes as circulated: Claudia, Penny.
  • Ian C. reported EPIRB battery replacement $209, cost of new EPIRB $350, John Davey agreed to purchase from Tamar Marine.
  • Ross looked at defibrillator details. Many brands mentioned. Weighs 450 g others 1.6 – 2kg. Ross contacted other f.n.groups – no response. Much follow-up discussion.
  • CPR Course – not advertised this year.
  • NE park weeding group – add Jenny Davey to list. The group will be continuing under current arrangements.
  • Rice grass report: follow-up from spraying. Earlier in 2025 eight small patches were found and it was decided not to spray until late summer 2026. Dorset Council offered to buy the spray and keep it until its needed. Thanks to Ross, who now supervises the spraying.

  • Debbie Pallister people can contact her to receive info about the campaign to save the Mt. Arthur Forests.
