Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the North East Field Naturalist Club Inc. held on the 12th August 2023 at 20 Edward Street, Bridport.

Guest speaker Ian Thomas afforded a special welcome.

President’s Report: Ross noted among other things a review of member guidelines undertaken by the management team and thanked two members Chris Forbes Ewan and Sue Wilson who have served the club in their roles as Editor and Treasurer respectively. Moved Ross, 2nd Lou. Carried.
Treasurers Report: Sue noted a slight drop in membership numbers though a stable financial situation exists.
She signaled her resignation as Treasurer. Moved Sue 2nd Pam. Carried.
Election of Office Bearers.
President: Ross nom. by Helen Preston, 2nd Pam Bretz. Elected.
Vice President: Pam nom. by Ross Coad, 2nd Helen Preston. Elected.
Secretary/Public Officer: Lou nom. by Claudia Bohme, 2nd Sue Wilson. Elected.
Treasurer: the following were nominated but declined: Mike Douglas, Lloyd Reeves and Penny Reeves. Then Jill van den Bosch nominated Myles Clarke, 2nd Ross Coa, Elected.
Committee: Lloyd Reeves, Mike Douglas, Jay Wilson. Sue to assist new Treasurer.
Appointments: Web Manager Penny Reeves, e-news editor Lou Brooker.
